Steak Escape

The food has always been good at this location but today the service was abysmal. I've been visiting this location since it opened around once or twice a month without a single issue. I order the same thing every time, a steak and cheese plain. Yes, just meat, bread, and provolone. Today my wife and I stopped in and ordered 2 sandwiches and a jumbo fry. Hers was fine but we didn't realize mine had what looked like American cheese on it until we got home. When I returned to the store, I asked "when did they start putting American on it"? I was rudely corrected by the guy who took my order "well that's what you ordered, and that's not American but Cheese Wiz". I didn't want to argue and just asked if I could get one with provolone. In a few minutes my dinner was ready and I asked "that's provolone right"? "No American" even more annoyed with me. I repeated again, "meat, bread, and provolone". What's so damn hard? Anyway, a few minutes later the 3rd one was ready and luckily it was correct, but it doesn't end there. The employee decided to correct me again. He walked around the counter and tried to teach me the menu in a condescending way. I said that "I'm not arguing with you, I've been a loyal customer since the store has opened and never had an issue". Never mind this guy has taken my order for probably two years and always got it right, but it seemed his cell phone was more important. There was only two guys there, one taking orders and another cooking, so while the food was being made he was buried in his phone. I wouldn't have cared if he just opened his ears and got my order right. By the time I got home the jumbo fry was cold and went in the trash. This visit just wound up costing me time and money because an employee was working for Facebook and not Steak Escape, on a Friday night I may add.
