Cavalier Restaurant

We had a baby shower on 3/29. The tables were very nicely dressed and we were allowed to add our decorations as well. The food were served buffet style. The selection was good and tasty. The wait staff was helpful and responsive. Everyone had a very nice time. The cost was reasonable. The only thing to consider is to remember to add a gratuity to your total bill.

Nice ambiance & friendly staff but the food isn't so great. The food is very bland & does not taste fresh at all. Like everything came out of a freezer or a can. My friend ordered the chocolate mousse cake & it tasted like the uncovered leftovers from a fridge. The quality was not worthy of the price. Will not be coming here again!

I have been going here for many years, I try to go to family owned businesses, we have our annual Christmas party here, never was fabulous but good food, last night was a disaster, horrible service, horrible food, burnt food, watered down sauces, bland seafood(guessing it was frozen way too long) one of the waitresses yelled at us, two people got their meals after the rest of us were done. Unfortunately I will not be going back here, the owner did give us free desserts, but that really did nothing to help save the evening

Horrible. Took forever to be waited on. Granted 2 people had called out. My child's drink came after she had already eaten her meal and dessert. No lids available, no take out cups. Everyone was basically done eating the buffet by the time we had our order from the menu taken. One of those meals was sent back needing to be cooked more only to be brought back still raw. So no, we won't be going back.

I took my mom out for mother's day and chose the Cavalier because we had a nice experience on her birthday back in January. We were unpleasantly surprised to see a changed menu with overpriced items and some we did not care for. We like haddock but it was nowhere to be found on the new menu. so we had the baked scrod which turned out to be saturated with butter and greasy the only thing we liked was the salad bar. The service was bad too as we waited so long to be served and the waitress didn't bring me any ketchup for the fries. We were not happy with price or service so we will probably be not returning again'
