I write this review in courtesy of the Sandwich Max that used to be on 7th. I ate there many times and I've had this location once. I love the sandwiches and the staff here, very tight family operated kind people. Gotta be honest though, this place is way too expensive to make it a go-to for lunch but still 5 stars, highly recommend every now and then.

The best sandwiches in the Charlotte area hands down. Their hoagies are phenomenal - bread from New York combined with high quality lunch meats and their prices are very low. What’s more to ask for? Lots of meat too in the sandwich. To me it’s all about the bread and that really stands apart from around here - so, so good!!!

I am all about tipping food service workers, especially after the hit they took with covid. Today, someone took my order at the counter. When it was ready the sandwich guy yelled across the room to me to pick up my order. I then asked the person wiping the table if she could wrap the rest of my lunch to go, she told me to go to the counter. The dining room was not busy and she could had easily done it for me. I had given them a 15% tip and what for? There was no service.

This place is the best sandwich shop in Charlotte. The bread is incredible. The negative reviews are only because they ask you to wear a mask. I don't like wearing a mask either, but it's their shop and their rules. Don't miss out on a delicious meal because you have to wear a mask while you order. Trust me, you'll be happy you did

Best sandwiches around. The ingredients are fresh, especially the bread. I feel like it's really hard to find a sandwich place with actually fresh bread in Charlotte. The meat is sliced to order as well. They also make it easy order and customize sandwiches with a standard base that can be modified. But mostly I come here for tasty sandwiches with great ingredients. To top it off everyone working there is super pleasant and nice. I think in a few years this place will be packed. Don't understand why it isn't now.
