The Capital Grille

We enjoyed a beautiful meal for my birthday yesterday. We arrived to a decorated table with a HANDWRITTEN card. Our AMAZING server David Crosby was so kind, sweet, and personable. His recommendations were sooo on point. From the wine to the first course allll the way to dessert. Chef prepared and PERFECT meal, I have NEVER had better oysters in my life. My parents came in from Maryland and we were blown away by how great the seafood dishes were. We cannot wait to come back on Valentine’s Day to celebrate with David. Thank you all for an amazing birthday.

I cannot express how delighted I am by my experience and the Capital Grille. My partner and I were visiting the area and did not know much more about the restaurant beyond finding the name online. We easily called to place a lunch reservation and were seated right away upon arrival. Our entire experience at the Capital Grille was one of the most elegant, delicious, and positive dining experiences I’ve ever had. Our server, Hannah A., was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional. She was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the dining experience, anticipated our needs and was so pleasant to talk to, as well as answered all of our questions. She also recommended to us the cheesecake, which I can easily say is by far the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Our drinks were phenomenal quality (pictured is the Bohemian and the In Fashion) and each part of the meal, from the bread to the appetizer to the entree to the desert was perfectly portioned, cooked, and presented. I immediately had to call family and rave about the restaurant after we left. This was truly an exquisite experience. Thank you Hannah for being so attentive and patient! I do hope to return to have another meal soon.

My husband and I went here for our 1st wedding anniversary tonight. There was a little bit of hearts confetti and a card on the table when we were sat. It was a nice gesture! Then they surprised us with a lovely dessert and toast at the end. Of course the steaks were amazing! Cameron took care of us tonight and she made it such a special evening. We will definitely be back!

My dad and I came here when we were in town for a Vikings/Panthers game and it was phenomenal. Every aspect of it - the food, the service, the restaurant itself. We had an amazing experience and the food was unforgettable. My dad said it may have been the best meal he's ever had. He got the Dry Aged NY Strip au Poivre with Courvoisier Cream and I got the Roasted Chicken Breast with Mushrooms and Parmesan Risotto, then we also got the Lobster and Crab Cake with Lemon Basil Aioli. We would absolutely return here.

No matter which Capital Grille I visit, they ALL offer the high quality you expect. They are all consistently amazing. I have been to Boston, Burlington, and now Charlotte and again I was blown away! All of the staff go above and beyond to give you the BEST dining experience. From the food to the servers and chef's, amazing in every way! The ambiance, seating design, and decor top notch. You can see the open kitchen and how these magicians whip up pure excellence. I always order the seafood tower and this one came with black magic oysters. I also ordered the filet with porcini rubbed balsamic glaze, one word...heavenly. From the bread right through to dessert, they exceed any expectations you might have. This is where royalty 🤴dines, atleast that's how they make you feel. To all of the staff at Capital Grille...THANK YOU!

We really enjoyed the experience at this restaurant. The French onion soup was so delicious and cheesy. I love my steak well done and sometimes restaurants take that request as a go ahead to bun the steak. But they prepared my steak PERFECTLY. It was still juicy and it had a wonderful salt crust. I also had the cream spinach. This had a little too much garlic for my liking. The dessert was ok. Overall, I would come back here.

Lorenzo was just amazing! We came for the generous pour wine tasting, but he stole the show! He was funny, super helpful and made this night out so much fun. Food was good, too. The wine tasting part. First of all - 7 different wines to try is a lot. Especially since not a single one of them was bad. $35 for all of them? Yes please!
