First time trying Roaming Rooster after sister recommended it, and definitely loved it. I got the OG Nashville with mild spice flavorwith cole slaw and pickles and the rooster sauce on the side. Chik fil a was my fav chicken sandwich before and I’d say this is a 5 if chick fil a is a 4. Definitely super filling too though, no need for any sides with this sandwich. Had three pieces of chicken in my sandwich and the coleslaw and pickles were a great combo with and and especially the sauce. I’d recommend ordering ahead for pickup as the place isn’t that big for sitting down. Will definitely get again.

Get the OG chicken sandwich either medium or hot and a side of fries. Ask for some more sauce if you can’t handle heat. The veggies that come with the sandwich enhances the flavor so don’t remove it, it just taste fresh and then you get smacked with some yummy heat.

My wife really liked the food and I thought it was pretty good but not the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Service was very good. The only two things I can see that they could improve upon is wiping down the chairs as some of them were sticky from being dirty and I think the price point was slightly high.

The food was amazing! I ordered the honey butter and my husband ordered the club. It came with 2 pieces of chicken on both sandwiches. The chicken was very tender and juicy. I chose mild heat and it was just the right amount of spice and flavor. I wish we had a location in North Carolina.

Oh man. This little spots hidden away. Love em. Fries are basically five guys fries though. While not bad, not great. But the chicken sandwiches were delicious. Got both the basic one and the slaw one. So good! Def coming back.

Awesome chicken sandwich! It was fresh and great tasting! They stack 2 breast’s and you choose the spicy level. I picked medium but would go mild next time. One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had! Highly recommended this place.

We ordered the Honey Butter chicken sandwich (medium heat) 2 days in a row. The chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a generous portion of chicken. These sandwiches are extremely tasty...I'm definitely a fan!
The only downside, they forgot to send our shake via UberEats :(
Highly recommend this spot! I'm happy to support a locally owned biz!
