Smashburger

I went here today (05/13/22), ordered through their website and when I got there I was standing for a good 5 minutes while the guy on front end was making a shake. No big deal but I did feel like I was just waiting for him to turn around and help me out. Yes I coulve said something but I have a major anxiety disorder which makes it really hard to even go in a resturant. When I finally got my order I went home and found that my order of smash tots was overly oiled with oil sitting in the bottom of the paper thing. My onions were not grilled all the way, some were still raw. Lastly I found a hair in my burger....While I dont generally bash on what's going on from what I can see outside of the kitchen, I think it's worth a mention, I noticed no gloves were on the shake maker guys hands and nobody in the back were wearing hairnets or had hair properly up. While the hair was not free flowing it was long enough to be concerning and too close to the food for comfort. The front end shake guy also had a personal drink close to the shake maker and upon noticing it was there dumped it in the handwashing sink. Thats no big deal in my book, it's just that's not a good place to dump, I mean your supposed to wash you hands there....I know this place is not a high end resturant by any means, I mean I hardly even consider it fast casual. But I just wish that i didnt have to point these problems out becasue a resturant should generally have control of sanitation and cleanliness.

Walked in and was turned away because they had "too many online orders to even take my order" bad management on their part. I work in culinary and would never greet a customer in such a way. I love smashburger but lately this store is probably the worst I've been too. I went to Shake Shack down the way and was greeted properly.

I ordered from Smashburger for the first time and did it though Uber eats. After 30 minutes (avg wait time) I received notification from Uber that the driver was on his way. 5 minutes later I get notification that my order was cancelled by the driver. I called these guys and they said they had no idea why the driver cancelled and that it was the 2nd time today that it happened. I’m not that far away and told them I would gladly come pick it up. When I got there the staff was super nice and apologetic. I pulled out my credit card to pay and they said it was on them, almost a $50 order. They just gained a new customer. The burgers were pretty darn good as well.

Alright burger if you like only well done burgers but the portions are what's really disappointing. After a long hike I came in here and ordered a large fry, I got a large box but the fries barely filled half the container. When I asked the girl at the counter if I got the right amount she assured me that I had the proper portion. With so many other burger places to choose from don't waste your time with this one.

My Double Colorado burger was so good today that I went to the kitchen to let them know as I stop by many different Smashburger locations. I was informed by a nice lady in the kitchen that this location is under new management. It clearly shows. The burger was cooked perfectly with the right amount of toppings and the Smash fries were good, hot and crispy as I love. This is as good as you can expect from fast food.
