Cafe Mobay

The food was absolutely delicious. For starters, I had the vegetable dumplings and for the entrée I had curry goat stew with white rice and candied yams!! Omgoodness, my tastes buds were very satisfied. Our waitress was a sweet young young lady who happens to be the owner's daughter. I also liked the fact that we were the only patrons dining in, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the food was made to order...nice n' hot, fresh and flavorful. We will most certainly be back. It is a BYOB establishment, so bring your finest wine along with you. 😊

If you are craving some freshly cooked authentic Jamaican cuisine, with generous portions Cafe Mobay is a must. With a warm and inviting interior it is no surprise that the service matches the vibe. Had the curry goat, and the oxtails - the flavors were savory and delicious! Thanks Cafe Mobay you've got yourself two new very satisfied customers, we will back!

The food here was ok. Tried the coconut rice, jerk chicken, plantains and veggie dumplings. The portions are a really good size as well, you could feed two on one entree. The coconut rice and jerk chicken were ok. Plantains were good, but I would't bother to get the veggie dumplings again. Tasted store bought and the sauce it was in wasn't complimentary, it needed soy sauce instead.

I tried to bring my husband to dine in for Father’s Day weekend and the hours of operation are incorrect. There was absolutely no one in sight and the place is closed. There’s no hours listed on the storefront meanwhile all of the other restaurants on the same strip are up and running. A gentleman finally saw a staff member and instead of her rude self communicating with the customers she’s busy waving. Clearly! we know the restaurant is closed, how about instead of waving, have some common courtesy to let the customers know what time you will be open.
