Jose's Authentic Mexican Restaurant

This place is great! The food was delicious. I had the tamale lunch which had shredded chicken inside and a flavorful beef sauce over it. They have an amazing dipping sauce for the chips unlike anything I have had. The atmosphere was awesome with handpainted murals everywhere and pictures of customers displayed on the walls and even the ceiling! I definitely recommend it.

This is a nice little dine in restaurant. They offer both a nice amount of salsa and also some white sauce which I didn't catch the name of. It's hard to describe but it's a very light flavor and not very rich or creamy despite its appearance. The food was plentiful and they offered very nice variety specialty appetizers like the queso fundita which I added as a photo. It's queso dip with chorizo added. It's not sure if it was the flavor of the chorizo or something added but the dip also has a bit of a citrus flavor to it which was unexpected but still really good. Service was nice as well, but make sure you are clear and concise with your requests. We had some issues with what we asked for but they were friendly when correcting it. I actually came here twice during my vacation in Wisconsin since I liked it that much. Lemonade does not get free refills so just be mindful of that.

Jose's was quite busy when I arrived with a group of 14. The staff was more than happy to serve us and find tables, and they did so within minutes. Our servers were extraordinary friendly and helpful, and we ordered and got our food before we even had a chance to take in the beautiful decorations and scenery setting the tone in the restaurant. The food was more than delicious for all of us, and we were all very satisfied by the end. Very attentive staff, appropriate pricing, and wonderful food.

The service was excellent, Very friendly and attentive, they even made a special dish for me since I am a cheese lover and am unfamiliar with many Mexican foods. Very helpful, fun, and creative, very big portions and well worth the money, drive and experience! They made a nice virgin margarita for our girl, and we shared a pitcher of a fantastic tasting strawberry margarita. Their complimentary chips and variety of salsas are amazing as well. you wont be disappointed!
