Burger Barn

Cute place with friendly staff. Chill, relaxing atmosphere. Cheese curds were awesome (but serving them in the cone left the curds on the bottom a greasy mess- a simple basket would be better). Also, the fries were good but the chicken patty used in the sandwich was cheap and processed. A real chicken breast would have made this place 5 stars. With a little bit of attention to quality The Burger Barn could be a real gem!

Be ready for a surprise! The outside deceives you! Inside decor is so fun and welcoming. I had the BLT. Very good sandwich. Also tasted the burger wrap which was mighty tasty too! Our waitress was super friendly. We were able to move tables when we realized we could see the lake from the back of the restaurant. Also offered us a free refill on our strawberry lemonade to go which was super yummy!

Stopped in over the weekend with my family to try out this new place. We were excited to see a new restaurant in the Ashland area! We were seated promptly when we arrived. Also we had a great view of the bay where we were sitting. All of the young adults that were working there were very pleasant and attentive. Had no problems getting our drinks and making our order. One of my daughters ordered the mac and cheese and it was excellent. My wife raved about the salad bar and how that was such a cool option. The cheese curds I had ordered were hands down the best curds I have ever ate. The reason for the four star review is because of the burgers themselves. They were bland and had an off putting texture. Overall though we still had a great meal here.

Wandered in around 11:30am on a Friday. Seated right away. No idea what to expect. Ordered 3 different burgers, all tasted excellent! The one with fried cheese curds, deep fried pickled jalapeños and bacon won though. Duh!The salad was super fresh and the soup was also very good. Tried an Oreo milkshake and that was great as well. We couldn’t finish half our meal. As we were packing up our leftovers, happily stuffed bellies, we all decided we needed to return before leaving town. What else can I say? Oh, very clean, from salad bar to bathrooms to staff who were also pleasant and attentive. Good job!
