Last nite we had salad, toastie, some tequila drink. Just want to alert you this is not up to the standards we knew with the previous owner. The drink was awful, the toastie yukkie and boring, the salad had dead leaves in it, not worth a fraction of the $31 we had to pay. We won't be back.

Excellent experience overall. Food, service, atmosphere... all 5 stars! You have to stop at least for a drink and appatizers, get cozy and listen to a record play!

The Playwright is simply awesome. It's a local favorite for great food, drinks, and an excellent staff. Try the hot wings and the Belfast burger.
