Creekside Pizza

We have been looking for a GREAT pizza place. We've tried all of the others in Ashland, EXCEPT Creekside. Until tonight. It was what we've been looking for: a crisp crust, first of all, then nice flavors. And the atmosphere is super! All the glass blown lights and other mixed-media art. Fun and relaxed. I have never. Ever. Ever had pizza like this before. I could have eaten here every single day of my trip. The crust is magical. I don't know what they do to make it so soft but yum, yum, yum! We got the cheese pizza halved with pepperoni. I was incredibly delighted when it came out with basil on it! How unique and just so tasty. Everything about this place was great except the kids playing pool were screaming so loud of excitement we couldn't have a conversation without yelling also. But it was great either way and I'd 1000000% come back.

Customer service is friendly. I believe Jessica was the name of the girl who helped us. Very nice, funny. and outgoing. However, the food is just---okay. Nothing great about it. We got the loco pollo pizza with black olives, fettuccine Alfredo with meatballs, hot garlic chicken wings with blue cheese dressing, and yammers. Like i said, nothing special about the food. Just okay.

Based on food alone I’m tossing it at 3 star. Pizza is alright, passable if hungry. Although pretty good rotating slice deals as far price goes. Atmosphere and building however are a 5. Such a cool bar / restaurant. Re-done older building with solid wood floors and bar. Worth a visit for a beer, maybe food.

For the price of the food, I would think the pizza would have more flavor, more razzle dazzle on my tongues dance floor, ya know. It was pretty bland. The pear salad was delicious, the crust was good in the pizza, but the sauce or something doesnt have that much flavor. It's just bland. Id suggest adding italian seasoning, garlic powder, somethin more in the sauce or topping. besides just tomato sauce, cheese, and toppings.. More seasoning please! But I love the atmosphere. Just hate paying for an expensive bland pizza.
