Bbq Restaurant

Had a combo menu which contains two meat dish, one seafood dish and one vegetable choice. 30 dollars for the whole set is really amazing considering the food quality and taste! Omg!!!! It's the best skewers I've ever had in Australia. Definitely recommend this one. Two days in a row heading to Ashfield just for the skewers.

Came here because of the high ratings on Google. The place looks nice & modern. The portion size of each skewer was very disappointing. I've never been to a skewer place with such small portions on each skewer. We ordered oyster mushrooms- as you can see in the pic below, they are minimal! The spices on the mushroom is same as the lamb & 'Wagyu', would rather it plain or just with abit of salt. We got octopus as the seafood option, they were tiny, overcooked and dry. Pretty average I say.

A restaurant that serves most of everything on skewers and grilled? Yes, please!! Even the steam bun was grilled! The menu was exciting: a variety of savoury and sweets. Prime location, plenty of seating and spacious. Typical decor, and there's even a TV! The waiting time was challenging as it was unusually long, and when they came out, they were delicious and exciting. Just... Skip going to the restroom!

Service was super slow - not sure if it was because we arrived late at night, around 9.30 - and the only waitress barely spoke English, so it was confusing sometimes. We got the bbq set. Food was hit and miss. Some were good, some were meh. Things that were good: squid, mushroom (the something comatus one), quail. Wayu beef was meh, chicken was ok. We also got a noodle bowl as portion-wise the bbq set wasn’t enough for 2 people to feel full... Their noodle was good though. Broth on the heavy side but not too much, noodles were hand-made I think - chewy and smooth.
