Shanghai Dumpling

This place is hilarious. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day in the pace. If you don’t mind waiting a long time for service and seeing the dumb and dumber of waitering or service. The proprietor lady just potters getting in the way and spilling stuff. Wait staff make customers 30+ minutes without serving them. They ask customers to get up out of their seat so they can get past as opposed to simply going around the tables. They serve you out of order, so long wait doesn’t mean you get served first. And waitress has an attitude issue and not v approachable. It’s an absolute riot! I was here long enough to see how the locals do it. Either order out, or come, order, leave and and come back in 30 mins when the food is ready and you have a table. Dumplings and noodles are good.

They dumplings are top notched but they customer service is sub-standard. I've been eating here for years, majority of the time always called to order my raw dumplings. Mainly due to the long wait and slow service, today an unfamiliar waitress told me that I should come in to order as it's really busy atm. I've asked her yo reserve for me as I'll be coming now. Drive for 40mins... came in and place my order and she said they don't have it. Unbelievable!!!

Their dumplings are affordable and quite delicious. Pricewise it is very reasonable, servings are sufficient, although i may not say quite the same for service. It is unfortunate that on the day i went, there were a very limited selection available for me to choose from that did not have prawns. If crustaceans are an issue, i would recommend any other store down the road that sells practically the same food.
