Best Japanese restaurant and most authentic Japanese restaurant in Westchester! Awesome customer service and great atmosphere!

I've been looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant in Westchester. Sazan is it. The cha-soba noodles in their Ten Zaru had just the right chewiness and a mild, pleasant flavor. The ebi-ten tasted like shrimp. I look forward to going back and exploring the rest of their menu.

Real authentic Japanese. Exquisite and delicate flavors that challenge any outstanding sushi or udon I’ve had in the city. Our family’s absolute favorite in Westchester county. We have enjoyed the Omakase more than once on special occasions and it is AMAZING.

This is the best sushi in Westchester. No frills high quality fish, courteous professional perfect service. Straight forward beverage program. Excellent pacing for omakase even seated in the dining room. This is for people who appreciate the art of sushi and Japanese cuisine. Can't wait to come again.

Had a great experience dining at this hidden gem. A very real Japanese food at somewhat affordable prices.
Tried lot of different appetizers like Sauté Garlic scape, Sashimi, Baked oysters 🦪 ,
Eggplant with sweet miso, and pork belly, all amazing one after the other.
Very friendly staff and a quiet place to enjoy a good meal 🥘

I have been eating here for more than 20 years, traveling from The Bronx by bus or car to get here. The food and drinks have always been above par (Okay, sensational actually!). I originally started going here because of their sake selections, but their voluminous menu of appetizers, specials and main dishes is incomparable and if you're daring enough, they have their extra-special Japanese menu!
I'm sorry for anyone who thinks they are too expensive, but this is NOT gas station sushi, as one super-obnoxious reviewer (who shall, deservedly so, remain nameless) on another site stated so snidely, but that is the price you pay for freshly, cleanly prepared excellence!

Authentic Japanese cuisine from a top chef that is so needed in this area. I always come for the chef’s tasting. The $85 and $100 menus are a great value and the food is by far better than some of the best omakase menus in the city.

Authentic Japanese food. Sat at the sushi bar and did the one where the chef decides what to make piece by piece. I enjoyed it a lot. My friend introduced me to this place and I plan to come back. The small cozy place was packed on a Wednesday night but the service was never lacking and the servers were always attentive.
