Used to love their annual chili eating contest, in the 80's. Not sure they still do it but their chili is always great!

Great place to go with a group or by yourself. They always make you feel welcome. Best of the best when it comes to "dive" bars. Great Chili during fall and winter!

Townie bar where the media age is likely at least 45. Cash only bar, limited bartenders but fast service. A nice little dive bar for an over 30 crowd.

The service was terrible, if you can even call it that; we weren't served. We were told "this isn't some young person bar" by the less than pleasant bartender. The average age of our group was 26, which is apparently too young to drink here. We were told to leave less than three minutes after entering by the bartender, because we had supposed attitudes (of course we didn't). If you enjoy being glared at by a bunch of bar flies, paying cash only, and being cursed at by a cranky bartender, this is the place for you!

I've driven by this place hundreds of times, and due to its location did not appear to be a place I wanted to visit. Went this past weekend and while it is an older bar, it was laid back and we had a good time. Cash-only bar.

As a local, I'm ashamed to say I've only been here a handful of times. However, the service is always wonderful and the drinks ice cold!
