Absolutely blown away by the food here at Mr. Burrito during my visit. It was so good that I ate far more than I normally do, and far more than I definitely should have. And I feel zero guilt either, because it all went to supporting a genuine small family business.
Ingredients are quality, service is fast, and even the chips they use for the nachos are somehow better than normal. On top of that, they have almost all the Jarritos flavors for sale, to continue to fuel my foreign soda addiction.

It is pretty good, but I've had bigger, better, and cheaper burritos in Texas. Food has quality to it though. Place is very small as well so ordering to go is probably best. People seem friendly enough.

I used to eat here every week when I was going to Iowa State. Since I graduated in 2018, I’ve moved and traveled extensively. Still have never found a better burrito. I miss it. If you’re in Ames, please have one for me.

I went here yesterday for lunch. It was very good! I had the quesadilla and it was full of delicious cheese! Highly recommend if you're visiting Ames!

Very flavorful food, as well as speedy and friendly service! One of the best restaurants in the area to patron. Prices were also quite reasonable, also open rather late for the area.

Mr Burrito is super delicious and authentic Mexican food. I tried the burrito bowl and was not disappointed! The meat, beans, and rice had good flavor and the toppings were very fresh. I also had the horchata as the drink. So good! I will definitely be coming back to try other menu items.

VERY Good Burrito! Beef, black bean , rice, cheese, lettuce, habernero sauce, onions, cilantro with a can of pepsi was 9ish. Burrito alone was 7 or so... So it has its competitors beat by taste, and value imho... only downside is street parking, a fence to chain bike to, obviously no wifi... outdoor seating too, also 1.50 delivery fee

We love Mr. Burrito. Sometimes they have trippa whish is like bacon... Very good!
