Subway

Made an online order and they called me to say they were out of both types of Italian bread. They were also out of every cookie and when I asked if we could get refunded for them the person on the phone said they weren’t authorized to do so but in a sassy way, then I could hear them and another person laughing about it. Is there no manager on duty to issue a refund? Terrible experience, not worth it. Just got my food and they only had one person helping who was making others sandwiches while my pickup order was just sitting there. They also forgot or maybe we’re also out of cheese??? If you can’t get the ingredients needed for a sandwich and cant hire enough workers or any that are helpful maybe close your restaurant.

I went in with friend with coupon to order and the gentleman was doing both our orders ,and so he stared to finnish mine and the female coworker takes over to ask what I wanted to put on it, I say , we get down to the sauces and she automatically pick up the hot sauce puts it on my tuna Footlong and she does this 1st before finishing the ingredients. I said to her I didn't ask for hot sauce, so he remade my sandwitch and I didn't know he did ,I can't tolerate hot sauce due to health reasons,I asked for honey Mustard she poured it on my foot long , wrapped it ,but put in bag and just threw at me. I thought how rude if was not for customers. You wouldn't get paid. I will never go back in that store ever again , you do not treat clients the way you do. Unhappy customer Ames Iowa Resident.

First time at this location and rudest restaurant employees I have ever encountered at any establishment. Attitude started while they were still making my sandwich. They refused to print me out a receipt after what I was concerned was a botched transaction (two orders but charged three times and misapplied coupons). I kid you not, direct quote from the employee: "There's nothing I can do, I can't change anything. I can't print out a receipt. Please step aside so I can help the next customer." I think at this point my mouth dropped open I was so appalled. Recognizing I was now being refused service, I left and my husband called the manager when I got home. Prime example here of why the minimum wage does not need to be increased- this mentality that exists "I don't know what needs to be done so I'll focus on getting rid of the problem" (the customer). We will not bring our business back to this location, especially after seeing that the problems with this location are well documented in online reviews.

I haven’t been here in awhile despite living close by b/c I previously had a bad experience over a year ago) Looks super different inside and no more roast beef apparentely. But this younger guy working this afternoon was super nice, I don’t remember being greeted before at this Subway, He made a very good sandwich & added the perfect amount of my horrible Extra, extra, extra pickles and spinach. I think I’ll be coming back here a bit more often again

I truly do n’t understand all the 1 star reviews…. Last time I was here before, the herb cheese bread was SO GOOD. whoever was working at the time, was actively cleaning tables and the windows and relatively nice. As I was checking out, I went to leave a tip with my card, but there wasn’t a tip option on the machine? Few other times i’ve visited I had to wait a few minutes for my online order, but at least I knew it was fresh Lol
