Tripelroot

Tripelroot is my go-to hang-out spot when I want a beer, a game of cribbage, and a good time with friends and family - such an awesome spot. The owners are salt of the earth and are great people - most likely they'll be serving you as well! Since it's family owned they don't keep crazy late hours and, uniquely, they're not open on the weekends, so make it a point to be there after work or when you're shopping in Zeeland. Lunch menu and homemade soups are really good, along with other snacks that are available. Great beer selection - Hop Barn #6 is my standby. Also a big whiskey and wine selection as well. You'll find a lot of cool locally-made things for sale around the brewery as well. Mug club memberships open up each November which includes your own pottery mug that you take home at the end of the year which I love - I use mine for my coffee every morning. They're larger seating area is great for company gatherings, bands (which play almost every weekend), and trivia nights on Tuesdays. Highly highly recommend!

Good food, but the list of recommended tips shown are based on the total after the tax and credit card processing fee have been added. Why should I tip the tax and credit card fee? The tip should be based on the service provided by the waitstaff, not in addition to the government's tax on the meal or credit card processing fee.

Great food, excellent beer. When you walk in, you are transported to another place. Nate and Laura have done such an amazing job on the interior and the tables, so creative and beautiful. It's just fun to be there. We check out brew pubs all the time, and it is hard to find a place that has as many consistently excellent beers on tap. They have the best Amber in Michigan, and they brew it all year long. Pampered Moose. A must taste.

Nate and Laura always do an amazing job, and I am so glad that they have been able to function during the various situations with the pandemic. Great beer, especially the Training Session IPA. Their shift to coolers and to-go items for food is hopefully temporary, but they have brought in some terrific stuff from outside suppliers if you are looking for lunch or dinner on the go. Try the taco dip! They also have some bread selections from Salt of the Earth in Fennville, and that stuff is awesome. The social district idea is going well, too. Overall 10/10 from me!

Tripelroot is a cozy little Brewery which also serves simple fare. Their beers are flavourful and varied, covering most styles. Available on tap or in cans/bottles for many of beers on tap. Food is tasty and not too expensive. Nice outdoor sitting area and several different indoor areas. The nicest thing is the selection of cheeses and sausages you can grab with your beer. They also have salads and sandwiches and locally produced food items and wines.

First visit. Bartender was genuinely engaged with my questions, and explained the history of the building and their business. My beer was excellent, but didn't try any food. The bartender did let me know the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo was outstanding, a favorite of mine. So I will be back to try that.
