Lovely little national trust house and garden hidden away in York City. While the house is not open to the public to wander through, the gardens are a lovely little excursion on a warm sunny day. Won’t take you long to walk around but there’s places to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

Welcomed with a little history to the gardens. The 'rooms' were beautiful and bright. Had lunch on the terrace with a lovely talk through of the history and the art and craft building.. drainpipes arty. Fascinating lovely afternoon out... Chocolate oranges mean more to me now! :)
Dog friendly too!

A lovely four acre garden full of beautiful trees, flowers and nice ornamental features. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The freshly homemade scones were to die for!
