I ordered 2 pollo verde(green chicken) tamales with rice and beans. They were very well cooked I haven’t had tamales in since my grandma and I would make them years ago now, so when I found this place on the maps I was excited and they did amazing! Thanks for the meal!

Best tamales I’ve ever had. The tamale buffet offers a number of different kinds(fav was the chorizo). It also has menudo, tortilla chips with amazing salsas on it. Been here a few times now and it’s always amazing. Disregard the atmosphere the tamales are worth it.

Hands down the best pork tacos I have had in the grand rapids area. I have tried many of their offerings and been happy with everything. The restaurant itself would go a lot further for dine in with a little renovating, but takeout seems to be a popular option. Only once had a small issue with an order being incorrect, they responded quickly to resolve it and were happy to make it right. I stop in about once a week now to order takeout and it will be my go to taco place for the foreseeable future.

Awesome food, staff helped me out with some things I didn't know, everything was fresh and fantastic. Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. Don't speak Spanish? No problem. If you're eating lunch elsewhere in the area you're making a mistake. You can order after arriving and still be out faster than pre-ordering at Chipotle. Wall Street is trash at Mexican food. Tamales Mary is fast food done right. Quick, fresh, delicious, and local
