Surrender Cafe

My sister had been to this café which serves Puerto Rican food a number of times. We went with a group of athletes with disabilities after the Tri-State Athletic Games recently. The food was all good. The beef stew was very tender and well seasoned, both the sweet and green plantings were well done, not to dry. The rice was cooked to perfection as was the stewed chicken and shrimp's. We also had the combo appetizer platter, which consisted of empanadas, three plantains with ground beef, and yuca. Overall, a good experience, there is an Parking place is fully wheelchair accessible.

To All My People I just had to stop at the Surrender Café I'll tell you guys this when I walk out of My Hoopity all I smell is the Island calling Me to come home and SURRENDER My TASTE BUDS the service here is not only good the atmosphere here is the greatest feeling I have ever felt in any of of the restaurants I have ever been the waitress and the receptionists are so very polite can't believe it and courteous with their service I would have to say believe it or not you must bring your family and children here to eat it's the place to enjoy your family home cook meal by a family from a small island of love this place really take PRIDE in all they cook this is must go place to eat this place not only deserves a good grade but from Me they get an A++ and this place I was so shocked to see a hand made step stool for the children's to reach the sink so they can wash their hands God Bless these people for thinking outside the box we're none of the please I've visited would do and if you see My lovely ladies say hello for Me every time you walk in because each time I see them My Heart just skip a beat when I speak to them God Bless My People

I came few years ago and never came back. Because of someone treated me bad, but I gave another chance and truly regret it not to come before. My churrasco was on point super tender and flavor was so good beans also were good. I will definitely come back and will recommend other people to come. Thanks also for hospitality was on point. I’ve been ordering from Surrender Café for years. For some reasons I had a bad experience with the service and food. When I picked my order the staff showed low energy. The cashier didn’t smile. I was charged more than what they advertised in the menu. After cashier charged me she ignored me completely. I gave her an undeserved 20% tip. When I got home the food was terribly presented. It looked like if it was leftover. I got upset stomach. I want to believe that it was a bad and odd day for the way I was treated and the quality of food.
