When I was an exchange student in Winona about 11 years ago, my host family and friends recommended this donut shop, apparently they served the best donuts ever - and they were right! I don't really have a sweet tooth but those maple donuts... wow. Many years later, I still think of them occasionally. I've never had better donuts before and after that.

Well, if you are from Winona you know how the donuts are. If you are unfamiliar with this place, then get your A$$ to Bloedows and discover what real donuts are supposed to taste like. Make sure you get a bacon and maple long john to truly enjoy a mouthful of deliciousness. Also don't forget cookies, or donut holes, or glazed croissants, or cinnamon rolls, or well, anything. Get one of everything that is the best way to enjoy.

Oh my Gosh the croissant donut was super yummy. And they actually have a loaf of bread that is round to make round sandwiches. My family had fun making them. I would definitely go again!

Best donuts in the whole state! Bloedow's donuts are second to none and you really should try 1 as soon as you can.

The donuts are always amazing and good prices! But I ordered on 4/26/2022 over the phone and paid before hand. I had a friend pick up the order long before their closing hours and she was not greeted upon arrival and said the woman behind the counter was extremely rude and unpleasant. This is not a bad review about the business, just this certain employee.

Hands down the best donuts I have EVER had. Whenever I am in town (driving up from Chicago) I get up early in the morning and leave my hotel to get in line for Bloedow's. I am not a morning person, but it's worth it.

best donuts EVER! we always make sure to call ahead and order some if we're going to be near winona, and we ask all our friends if they want any, too! my favorites are the jelly filled and the maple long johns. SO GOOD and such great prices, too! dunkin donuts has nothing on bloedow's
