Great food at great value. Atmosphere good. Nice indoor kids playing area as well as outdoor climbing frame. Service was very slow (c. 1hr from order to food on table) which felt due to low numbers of staff. Ordering food also took time - with 1 person taking all food and drink orders for the restaurant resulting in queuing at the bar for 10 mins to place order. The restaurant wasn't near full during our visit.

Visited with family, including 2 small children. It was such a nice experience, staff were friendly, the children loved the play area. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful and as a lovely bonus we had a 1/3 off mains voucher. Will most definitely visit with the family again. We’ll done The Oyster Bed

Great to have a corner table. Staff friendly and helpful, food excellent. Table service a little slow but not a problem. Very appreciative of the indoor and outdoor kids area for our toddler

The staff are very nice and helpful, The starter was hot and very tasty as was the main course, we were six adults and one child its a nice family place to eat and drink the wine was chilled just right the way we like it three of us had a third course and ended up having two bottles of wine. The wife and I are going there again Tuesday about 4.30pm.

We had 2 Sunday lunches and they were superb. The portions were very generous and was made with quality ingredients. The service as always was friendly, cheerful and super quick. The manager is a lovely girl who always takes time to ask us how we are and are we having a nice day, which always makes us come back. Super job guys keep up the great work 👍🏻

We had a lovely waitress called Daisy who covered all bases! Daisy was very attentive! The bar staff were very welcoming & friendly! The food & the atmosphere was fab! Would highly recommend a visit to the Oyster Bed! U won't be disappointed. Thanks to all of u! From a well fed happy Pallen Family!

Such a lovely place. We walked in to the warmest of welcomes as ever from Courtney who always makes us feel like part of the family! We were seated comfortably and we all enjoyed our food, both mains and desserts but the highlight of our evening was Ollie our waiter who looked after us so well. He was polite, warm, friendly and went out of his way to make the evening perfect for us. He's a real rising star in hospitality and if he keeps that attitude, he'll go far. Thanks for a lovely evening!

The meat was cooked a bit too much but it was still tender and flavorful. The veggies were nicely roasted and complemented the dish well. The meal brought together all the classic elements of a good roast, and I left the table feeling completely satisfied.

This was only the 3rd time of coming to the restaurant, but the 2nd time being served by the same waitress, who recognised us from our 1st visit 16 months ago. We knew this time frame as my son was only a week old on our 1st visit. What a great memory your staff member has and what a wonderful thing to be remembered out of all her many customers. A true asset to your team.
Will definitely be back, and much more frequently. Great food, affordable offers throughout the week and good choice of lunch time meals. 100% would recommend.

The staff were very friendly and industrial.
The food was very enjoyable, hot and reasonably priced. I was so glad you had Orchard thieves back on tap and my wife said her cocktail was delicious.
