The food was good and of good quality. The music was right and it's a quaint place. The only issue I have is that the server seemed embarrassed to share with us the fact that they now charge for chips and salsa. I understand why, but it just seemed awkward. The service was good but not notable. I'll be back for another special occasion, but the pricing vs value aspect will keep me from visiting more than two or three times a year.

The food may be good. I don’t know. I sat in the waiting area for over 15 minutes without even being acknowledged. Same for the couple waiting in front of me. A waiter even walked between us and failed to acknowledge us. Then the waitress who came to the front took the to go order of the couple in front of me. And then seated another couple who had walked in after me. She said she would be right back to get my to go order. However after 5 more minutes of waiting I walked out.

AMAZING FOOD! I was recommended this place by a friend and am so glad I was, because it was the best restaurant we ate at! We had the jalapeño poppers (not your average cream cheese stuffed and deep fried), I had the habanero pineapple chicken tacos and my boyfriend had the elk chorizo burrito (they even grill the burritos, which adds deliciousness). Everything was amazing and we even bought 2 bottles of the house made habanero carrot hot sauce. They even use locally sourced meat and ingredients when possible...loved everything about this place!!!

Upon moving to the area I was told in no uncertain terms that there are no good Mexican restaurants here. This place didn't dispel that statement. I will say the food was good, but overpriced and lacking. I ordered shrimp Diablo, which I've had many places. It was literally a bowl of soup, that I've never had. And there was so much waste. It could have at least been served with rice to sop up all of the cream soup. My wife got cheese enchiladas and added carne asada. It was ok, she didn't care for it but to add the carne it was an additional $5. Overall the portion to price ratio was way off. I would say we had a $40 meal that actually cost us $65. I would stay away unless you really want to spend the money. While the food was good I've had better Mexican for half the price.

Burrito was delicious, but the atmosphere could've been better in the main room*. Maybe we just hit it at an odd time; but either way, good food! *Just went back after over a year since my first visit, and sat in the sun room off the main dining area. It's much better over there! The waitress was super nice and the food was still fantastic!*

I'll give them four stars instead of five, only because they don't have tequila, or any liquor for that matter, just beer basically. But I thought my fish tacos were very good, and the Mexican Chocolate Cake was amazing! It's a very nice little restaurant and the service for me was good, so no complaints here.

We live in Whitefish, and this is absolutely our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent! Not exactly "traditional" Mexican, but so very good! My wife orders the fish special almost every time we're in (which is frequently), and has never, ever had anything less than a spectacular meal. The service is always excellent, as well. Michelle in particular is a tremendous waitress. We are consistently disappointed when we eat at Mexican restaurants in other towns, they just don't compare.
