Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq

What a fascinating place! It's kind of a combination between a hibachi and a fondue restaurant. The food here is simply amazing. For the appetizers we had edamame, beef with rice, pork dumplings, and this incredible gyu-kaku salad. For the main, we cooked all different kinds of beef such as skirt steak, filet, and beef sirloin.....all of it marinated and very tasty. The shrimp and pork were also delicious. Very fun place with delicious food. If you're hungry, you can't go wrong here.

My partner and I wandered in on a quiet Monday afternoon and had such a great experience! The food was delicious, plentiful and the service was extremely warm. I’d call it more of hospitality. Tong’s hospitality was top tier! Tong was kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and offered great suggestions. Every member of the staff was accommodating and happy to help when they could. A couple managers visited the table as well. Roasting marshmallows over the fire on a cool autumn afternoon was the perfect, cozy ending. From walking in, to the meal, dessert and leaving, there was nothing unpleasant about the experience.

The experience is an interesting one where you are cooking your own food at the middle of your table! If you feel like just sitting back relaxing and being waited on and served def don't opt for this place... unless that is you go with someone who will handle all the cooking! 😉 The meat was all very fresh and tender. We got the Chef special for 2, which includes a very nice salad, kimchi, beef rice, and beef sushi along with the assorted meats. The waiter was very professional, helpful, and attentive. For dessert we had chocolate lava cake and green tea ice cream and hot green tea. 😋 The place was very crowded on a Saturday night 🌙 but the staff are efficient. Different experience but def recommend and food very good.👍 👌

I had such a great lunch here with friends the other day! We made a reservation so we got in right away. There were a good bit of spots open but if you have a large group like we did I think it’s best to do the res! We were a group of 6 and got drinks and the value course to start with. I was actually really glad to find out we could order that because I assumed we’d have to order the larger one for 6 people so I think that’s something people should know. We also ordered several different chicken meat choices to add to this and a ton of appetizers. We got the edamame (one free with a Yelp check in!), kimchi, fried dumplings, steamed dumplings, cheese corn, cheese wontons, and spicy addicting cucumber. It was so fun catching up with friends and cooking food together. It was so chaotic with them bringing stuff at random and everyone grabbing stuff/ putting it on the grill but it was so worth it. Everything was so good with the exception of the cheese corn. I thought it was really watery for some reason. I definitely recommend this place with a group of friends so you can try so many different things and not break the bank! (I forgot to take pictures at some point because it was so chaotic!)

Great experience! The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Our online reservation was canceled due to a glitch. Even though it was a busy Friday night they managed to squeeze us in and give us phenomenal service! The food and drinks were great! They have an excellent selection of food and high quality meats. Good selection of vegetarian options for a BBQ place. The Beyond Bibimbap was delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

A good place and a place I would go again for this type of cooking. The meat selection and overall selection was great. As this was an extremely busy place the service was spotty. We got the wrong dishes (twice) as it was confused with another table. But food quality overcame that issue. Pricing is pricey but on par with these type of establishment, parking with lot or street.
