Buon Amici

A great place for lunch (and probably dinner, too). A good, varied menu with emphasis on classic Italian dishes, and a fine variety of $19.95 prix fixe lunch specials. There was also a long list of daily specials, but they were rattled off -- without prices -- by a waiter and were hard to remember. Bring back the blackboard or daily lists from the copy machine. Overall, though, I am a very satisfied customer.

Home style Italian.. we loved the food options.. I would recommend mozz sticks n calamari for apps.. piccata or parm or pasta were a classic hit in entrees.. Surprisingly chocolate lava cake was our winner.. definitely not tiramisu.. it was missing coffee n liquor.. 🤣 Finish with espresso n sambuca.. Njoy..! Totally recommend this place

If you want the true New York Italian experience, this is a must go to restaurant. Making a selection from the specials that are recited from memory by the waiter adds to the experience. The options make it almost impossible to decide because there are too many delicious selections that you will love. Huge portions to die for. Unfortunately, I was overwhelmed by the deliciousness that arrived at our table that I didn't even remember to take any photos we just dove in. But trust me you won't go wrong.

There is no single negative thing I can say about this place. Reservations are strongly recommended before going there. We went there on a Saturday night for dinner. The food was out of this world! Both the pescaterra and lamb chops were just unbelievable! Our waitress did a very good job going over both the menu and the specials. We have a new favorite restaurant!

When I am in Westchester, Buon Amici is my go to place. Whether it’s dining in, takeout, delivery, catering or a party it is always a five-star experience. There is outside dining available in the tent. Downstairs room for a party. Valet parking available, or you can park at one of the many spots on the street. I have been coming here for over 20 years for dining and business purposes. I’ve gotten to know the owner Chris over that time. Very hands-on whether it’s helping in the kitchen, at the bar, or bussing a table. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. He always treats his customers like family. We stopped in on Christmas Eve. Even on a busy holiday night, the service and food were outstanding. The fried calamari appetizer was crispy and seasoned beautifully. We shared a veal Sorrentino and linguine with shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes in vodka sauce. Veal, prosciutto, and eggplant with cheese is a great combination. Add a delicious sauce and that’s what you have with this dish. The linguine and shrimp had lots of flavor. Scattered sun-dried tomatoes were a nice touch. For dessert we had a piece of rainbow cookie cake. I am usually disappointed when I order this anywhere. The rainbow cookie cake more than met expectation. The chocolate ganache was very rich. If we weren’t full from dinner, I may have ordered another piece. If you are looking for amazing Italian food in Westchester, Buon Amici is the place to go. Five stars every time!
