(FYI: this place came under new management in Spring 2022, so look for more recent reviews!) We've hadn't found a local takeout place since Fu Yuan closed, but we really enjoyed our dinner tonight! Con: the pork in garlic sauce was a little tough Pros: sesame chicken was great! Also liked the chicken lo mein and egg rolls. Really friendly and fast service! I want to get some almond cookies for dessert next time. Edit to add SECOND VISIT (9/23): got General Tso's, Szechuan Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Pork. All great, especially GT. Pork fried rice with combos is amazing. Pay with cash if possible to better support this local small business - the credit companies charge them a lot now!

Carlton and Roosevelt wheaton China star they have been around for over 20 some years the food has always been good but in this past year the original owners had to sell the business they had problems that just no longer included running a business. The new management has done real well and has even improved the menu it took me a bit and may visit ordering food for take-out since the sale to honesty be able to say this because I was worried that it would be terrible thankfully I was wrong . When me and the wife go there it's a treat we do spend about 45- 50 dollars but that's 4 meals for me and 3-4 meals for her. They do have smaller meals that are great definitely worth the looking into them .

Delicious delicious delicious. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Wheaton and in need of some good old fashion Chinese food. I loved everything from the shrimp and broccoli to the egg rolls and many many things in between. Everything is tasty! The lovely family who runs this restaurant are so warm and inviting and always remembers a face. That’s great customer service! They deserve your business. You won’t be disappointed. 😊 🥡🥢
