A regular place for a quiet drink in a warm and welcoming setting. The option of booth seats is always a first choice. Quirky decor and friendly enough staff.

This place is badass. We ordered a few bottles of wine for a big table. One of the wines we thought, needed a bit of decanting so we asked for one. The lovely lady who served us kindly gave us a decanter but also wondered why we asked for it. She asked if she could taste the wine and as soon as she did. Went back and opened another bottle to compare. She reported an immediate difference and exchanged the wine. New bottle was beautiful.
Signs of a passionate, educated and we'll run wine bar.

Very good staff, noticed that we had maybe ended up with a subpar bottle of wine (through no fault of theirs) and immediately rectified it. Very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone, whether they know a lot about wine or are just there to experience the amazing wines on offer.

I recently visited The Puffin bar in Wellington, New Zealand, and had a delightful experience. The drinks were refreshing and well-prepared; The garlic bread was a wonderful choice for a snack - it was flavorful and perfectly toasted. The ambiance of the bar was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend The Puffin bar to anyone looking for a pleasant spot to enjoy drinks. But, I think they need to add more options to the snacks menu.

I love this bar. The entrance looks like the lobby of an art deco hotel, then there’s an open seating area next to the bar, and a little nook with amazing lighting. The wine selection is mostly organic and boutique and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!

This is a cool, eclectic wine bar inside of a hotel. They serve mostly beer and wine. The drinks are pretty cheap. It’s definitely a good date night spot. They serve a couple of small tapas like food ie bread.

When not much else is open on a weekday night, The Puffin is!!! Excellent spot for a good glass of wine or mixed drink. Super knowledgeable staff that are unpretentious and welcoming and overall stellar folk. So glad i found this place by accident and highly recommend for not only the drinks but the atmosphere and overall class of this spot. If i lived here i would be a regular.
