Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

The food is great for the ambiance and prices. I searched places with chicken pot pie and this place came up. The pot pie was delicious! I also thoroughly enjoyed the Monte Cristo sandwich. It was PERFECT. They also serve you a warm buttery croissant as soon as you sit down. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I arrived there since we were meeting with a group of friends for a late lunch. We were the first ones there and told the host that we needed a table for 11, and he was able to get one for us in the back without any wait time. Our waiter comes over and takes our drink orders and brings back our drinks quickly. The others finally arrived and the waiter took our orders and we all got our food and drinks quickly (and amazingly with no mistakes). I ordered the veggie plate and the food was really good, especially the red beans & rice and yellow corn. My wife ordered the salad with pecans in it, and she said it was very good. Many kudos to our waiter for an excellent job well done, and he was certainly tipped very well!

My aunt and I had a nice lunch in the bar area. She had the grilled white fish, very generous portion, and two sides. I had the grilled sirloin with grilled onions, mashed potatoes & carrots. Oh we did have the spinach dip for and appetizer. That was creamy and delicious. We had to adult beverages. Our bill was about $50. April our server/bartender was helpful and patient while my aunt tried to decide on what she wanted to eat. We will return.

Good food with something on the menu for everyone. This place gets crowded early on the weekends. So there may be a wait. Once seated the croissants are worth the wait. Everything on the menu is decent. I’d recommend the chicken pot pie. It’s high in calories but worthy of a cheat day. For $65 we got two entrees, two kids meals, drinks and an appetizer. I don’t think you can beat those prices especially with the quality of food.

We are fans of Cheddars, so we went here for a quick lunch. We always sit at the bar, and April quickly greeted us and offered to get us drinks. Sherry Ann had the painkiller, and I had a Shiner Bock. She offered us some croissants and took our order. I had the meatloaf, and Sherry had the chicken pot pie. Our food came out fast and it didn't disappoint. This place looked busy for lunch, and I was impressed by how quickly we were served and the attention we got. April was a great bartender answering all our questions and making sure we were well taken care of. This is a great place with reasonable prices and great customer service. That was my first time going to this location, and it's good to know I can count on it.

We showed up with a party of 23 on a Saturday night and after a little wait they finally got us seated. The restaurant staff was nice and courteous and the service was impeccable. While waiting for our table about half of us had drinks at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive and the drinks were delicious. Our dining experience was memorable and the young lady that was waiting on us was fantastic! Great experience will definitely be back and I highly recommend Cheddar's.
