So. Many. Red. Flags. First up, if you want to eat inside you have to go in through the fire exit on the left side of the front. No signs, the owner just told us after going in the main (but wrong) entrance. Second, THIS PLACE NO LONGER HAS ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI. Not sure when it was discontinued. Next, the price of the food is higher than the prices listed on the menu. Platter of 5 special rolls and 6 regular rolls was $2 higher than the price on the menu. Not a big deal, but illegal to my knowledge and shady business practice. We ended up waiting 35 minutes for the 6 regular rolls of sushi to arrive after having to chase down the waitress/owner to give her our order. It took another 15 minutes on top of that to get the 5 special rolls. Sushi was not worth the wait. All the raw fish was room temperature, which indicated to me it was either not being refrigerated properly or was left out before being brought to us. Flavor of regular rolls was ok, minus the long hair that was served to us on the Philadelphia roll. Special rolls were just nasty. Fish was not fresh at all and the taste reflected that. The canned fruit that came with some of the rolls did nothing to help. I normally DEMOLISH sushi but I had a few bites and gave up. My friends and I spent the rest of the night with upset stomachs mourning the loss of what used to be a pretty good sushi restaurant. The lack of people there on a Saturday night should have signalled to us to turn around and go somewhere else. The table next to us told us that they had to wait over an hour for their rolls, despite the emptiness of the restaurant, so we were clearly not an exception. No matter if you want all-you-can-eat or a la carte rolls, you should go to one of the many other respectable sushi places in the area.

If you love sushi this is the place to go with all you can eat. Cheap! And if your not a sushi person they have other options to eat like chicken teriyaki! Byob

Horrible service, they hang up on you if you call and the sushi is bland. Tempura is an off white color with no crunch or crisp. Worst sushi I’ve ever had

Been here several times, the fish has been very good and the other food is good too. Excellent value for AYCE menu and now more appetizers are included (photo). Friendly staff and the green tea is good. If you're a rail fan, this place is next to the tracks :). But not intrusive to other diners.

Food was great. Location is run down and dirty. Service is questionable. We first went in looking to dine in. Everything was blocked off. We asked if they were serving there and they said no. Only take out. We started to leave and then they said that we could eat there if we wanted. They pointed us around to the back door. We walked around and it was locked. We waited for a few minutes and no one seemed to be there. Just as we were leaving again they opened the door and let us in. Surprisingly there were two other parties already dining there. Really strange. Our table was falling off the wall and slanted. They had some issue making hot tea. They had tea bags but were telling us we needed to order water instead cause they couldn't do the tea. Then after I asked again later they gave in and brought us tea? I don't really understand what the issue was. Then we kept being left alone and forgotten about. Kept needing to flag down the waitress. Once we finally were able to get our orders in everything was good. The soup wasn't too salty, and the sushi was fresh and not too cold. Very well done and high quality. Over all it was a really strange experience. I'm amazed they haven't driven everyone away. I plan to go back as I don't mind the weird atmosphere. It's not somewhere I'd bring someone to make a good impression. Just to get good food for cheap.
