Taco Bell

Not impressed AT ALL. We counted 7 employees in there tonight, lobby was empty and 2 cars in the drive thru but nobody can be bothered to take an order anymore....the average price per meal is approximately $13.50, it would be cheaper to go to Chili's or even Applebee's. Smokey D's is even cheaper. Then let's get to the 10 minutes it took to even get our food. Once we got it, 2 out of 3 of the quesadillas had one of four sections empty. And fast food workers wonder why the American people don't want them to make $15/hr. The new Mexican pizza is NOT worth it. That has nothing to do with this particular location, its just the new shell tastes heavily of flour and over powers the rest of the ingredients. I agree with other online reviews that the new Mexican pizza is bland and not as good. I've been waiting since June 2020 to have the Mexican pizza again and was greatly disappointed. 0/10 will go back to taco bell.

Ordered online. When we got there, found out they were out of half of our order. We ordered premium meals, and got nothing premium than what we got. The employees try to be helpful, but failed miserably. This is the third time we went to the Taco Bell and left completely and utterly disappointed. They forgot half of what we ordered, no ice, failed to give us a receipt, didn’t offer much help at all when it came to switching out what they were out of. They offered just switching out for regular tacos which was pretty well ridiculous. The Taco Bell looks nice enough, but with the folks they have working there I would avoid this place. It’s the last time will be ordering from here, sadly.

I have to give one start to write a review otherwise I give 0 star. First we have to wait like 30 min in line to order food. After we got home they messed up my order so I called them and explained. They said your come back we will fix it. So I told them I already spent 30 min in line to get food and I’m 20 min away, so lady told me when you come next time we will give you credit. So I went there today they said we don’t have have your name here ask me do you know name of person I said I don’t remember. They refused to give me my credit. Common it’s only $15 dollars which I don’t care but thing is your honesty and word. I asked can I speak to manager they said we all are mangers. Seriously!! They are sort of staff and claiming that we had to many people working that night. B***s. Never go back this location.

We wanted taco bell for supper, so we went on line to place the order. Well, it wouldn't let ya check out. So my husband went to the store to order. But was told that they could only make the order if it was ordered on line. My husband told them that the on line ordering wasn't working and the guy said must be a taco bell thing and smirked. My husband walked out and went someplace where the employees aren't jerks. Well Taco Bell, you just lost a huge expensive order. We will NOT be back.

This location is not reliable. We eat out one night a week and let the kids decide where they’d like to go. Tonight when we arrived I was greeted with something about “waiting for beef”, but the speaker cut out. I stated that the speaker cut out and I didn’t hear the rest of the message. Then, silence. Every time this location has an issue we take out money across the street to Mc Donald’s or Subway. Until this location gets it together, that’s what we will continue to do.

Even a 1 start for this location is a joke. I don't usually write reviews, but I had multiple bad experiences at this location. My recent one was when at the pickup window I was told they're out of food and that i'd get a call from his manager for a refund after 1 day. It's been three weeks now, but no refund has been made. On previous few occasions either we had to wait 20-30 minutes for no reason, or a wrong order or food prepared wasn't up to standard. we were patient with this location as other location is quite too far, but we are done. Save yourself some time if you're first timer as all those who have been there once knows what I'm talking about :-)

How is this even a viable business? We have attempted to go four times in the last month. Every time, it’s the same two employees. They say they are unable to take new orders until they “clear their screen of online orders.” So, we happily say we will wait. Then, they immediately and rudely say they are out of food. How is that even possible if they don’t know what we want to order? If a business refuses to serve customers, I’m not sure why they are even open. This place is a disaster and an embarrassment to Waukee. Ownership/regional management really needs to be aware of this issue ASAP and make some serious changes or close the location.
