Old Dickies is out DUBs is in - no difference, too bad. Simply reconsidering for new place to eat - family owned place, spoke with owner. She seemed annoyed to have to answer questions, but other employees deferred completely to her. What are your sides, I asked? How do you cook the greens (on the menu board) - she wouldn't answer, said it doesn't matter "we don't have them anyway." They don't bbq chicken - saute them in pan on stove. "If we give you advance notice could you cook one in the smoker?" - she just looked at me and said "probably not."
Menu is nearly identical to dickeys but prices higher and a lot less personable! We will NOT be taking any of our party's there.

My favorite BBQ in town, and the Cat Fish is fabulous!! Also, the BEST Hush Puppies around.

Never going back. Went in and nobody was in line. There was a girl behind the counter cutting meat. It took us a while to look at the menu. The girl demanded not once but 3 times that they could take care of us at the register. We were obviously trying to decide what we wanted to order. Made a decision and they didn't have what I wanted. In all the time we were standing there I talked about getting the rib tips. When i went to the register to order the girl that was cutting the meat yelled there were no tips. Why didn't she say that when she heard us talking about them? This girl was a snot. Lousy customer service. Ordered the brisket, so did my husband. Waited forever to get our food. When it came my husband's looked good and moist. Mine was dark and dried out like it sat for quite a while. Our food sat on the counter and they were waiting for the green beans. Really? Why wouldn't they serve what was sitting there and bring the beans later? My husband also had sausage which was over cooked, coke slaw was awful. Dickeys was so much better. I was in the restaurant business for many years, this is not how to treat your customers. I would have fired every last one of them.

Pretty good food. A little expensive, but on par with other BBQ places. I had the dubs salad (adding pecans and dried cranberries to a regular house salad) with pulled pork and some sweet potato tots. The tots were a little mushy, but tasty, and the salad was quite good. Portions were a little on the generous side, but not huge. The pork was a little dry, so I added BBQ sauce to it, and it made the salad taste better anyway. Far from the best BBQ I've ever had, but not bad for St George. I'd go again for sure.

Wonderful little and real BBQ place. Brisket, burnt ends, chicken, and rib tips were great. There house salad topped with brisket was just right. Prices are reasonable and best of all flavors were better that the roadhouse nearby. This is a family friendly place that is just about the food. Plenty of parking. The accept Android (aka Google) and Apple pay that protects their guests, which is great. The only knock is they do not have Coke products on tap - lame. This one is a keeper, just bring your own Coke Zero 😉

By far the best BBQ I've ever eaten! The employees are super friendly. The owner is on hand and greeting his guests with a smile. My kids seriously ask me every time I pass through St. George if I'm bringing home the BBQ. My whole family loves this place. If you haven't tried it you definately should!

Honestly, the best BBQ I've had in years! But the help is slow, they seems irritated to be there. The last couple of times we've been there the meat is cool or cold. It has gone down hill since opening their second location, maybe spread to thin.
I will give it a higher rating when the meats temp goes higher.

I was not too impressed. I got the pulled pork sandwich specifically so I could compare it to a new place in Leeds I went to, called Papa Gus, where I ordered the same thing. To be honest, the pork tasted a lot like what I make at home in the crock pot, kind of "too" tender, if that makes sense, almost to the point of being mushy. It kind of made me wonder if it was really smoked or not. Real smoked pulled pork has a little bit of a chew to it, especially if you get some from the outer portion of the meat. I also enjoy fries with my BBQ, which they didn't have (I know it's not a traditional BBQ side, but it's my preference).
Overall I would have given it a 3 star review, since it's about on par with like a Dickey's, which is average BBQ. The huge issue was that my co-worker found a hair in her brisket sandwich. We compared it to her hair just to make sure, and it was definitely not her's. I had no hair in mine, and I know mistakes happen, but I docked it a star as a result. I won't be going back, there are several other BBQ places that are better.
