Terrible customer service. I had Ingrid in the drive thru a few weeks ago and she made me just want to leave the food after sitting in the drive thru line for 20 minutes in the heat because my air doesn't work. I asked her to repeat my order to make sure it was correct but she immediately start shouting through the drive thru wait I talking to someone else. Instead of politely asking me to hold on because she's taking another order or just informing me that she was taking another order. I informed her that she could've just communicated that through the headpiece to me instead of shouting as if she was coming through the speaker. I let her know that I wasn't trying to argue with her I just wanted to make sure it was right. I proceeded to the window where Ingrid continued to be very rude to me and gave this confrontational attitude about everything I asked her. I then asked her her name. She lied and said her name was Yannet but then I pulled over and asked a coworker because I knew I saw something on her name tag. I'm sorry I don't care how much my kids ask for McDonald's on the way home, I will NOT be spending my money on this one ever again!

I feel conflicted about rating a McDonald’s but I’ve been here several times in the last month and keep getting prompted so… if you’re trying to choose which one to go to and you’re in the area, go here. The fries are always hot and the drive through line moves way faster than many others. I’ve never been inside so I don’t know how it is there. The crew is always the same and relatively friendly. Sometimes they get the order wrong, but not enough to keep me from going back and If you’re not checking your bag before you leave then that’s on you. The fastest way to order is on the app and just pick it up through the drive through. If you order and wait curbside it will take some time. Also it’s open very late but it is not as off the hook as the one up at HU (used to be) late night on the weekends

I visited the McDonald’s on Pennsylvania Avenue in south east on February 1, 2022. I received two burgers through the drive-through that were old. The burgers are dry and the cheese was stuck to the bun, since I ordered them with extra onion I could tell that they had simply re-opened the packaged burgers and added the extra onion. Upon finding a parking space and going inside, I addressed this to a Hispanic male manager whose name I did not get, but he proceeded to suggest that there’s no way that the burger could have been old. He became emotional,And snatched the bag away for me. He said that I “didn’t know what I was talking about” and I kindly expressed to him that I had been working for McDonald’s for at least 12 years. He then insulted me by saying you don’t know anything about McDonald’s and you have been working for McDonald’s for 12Years. Realizing that he was escalated,I decided to withdraw from the conversation until I got my food. I reminded him that at McDonald’s I was always taught that “ the customer is always right”And that youShould never neverInsult your customer under any circumstances. I’m very disappointed to see that the company has somebody with such an aggressive temperament working with the public and representing such a great brand.

First of all I want to say this mcdonalds has best quality food taste and temperature in DMV area. I came in in my uniform I am a dc police officer and assistant Vern service was amazing going through today's society being turned away from restaurants mistreated for wearing a badge thus mcdonalds and vern went the extra mile. Was treated with upmost professional taken care of food was hot and great taste. Hopefully corporate listens to this review vern is a amazing manager from a customer standpoint store super clean food and service is great give this man a raise. IF YOUR A POLICE OFFICER THIS IS SAFE LOCATION AND YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH RESPECT NOT TURNED AWAY AND FOODS GREAT. GIVE VERN RAISE.

Go somewhere else. This place isn't worth the wait in the drive thru. Annoyed that a McDonalds wouldn't have any of the McCafe coffees because "the machine is broken". When we placed our order they said they had honey for tea and then when we got the tea they said they were out of honey. I wouldn't recommend.
