Slice House

Tony Gemignani is the godfather of American pizza making, and it's clearly demonstrated here at the Slice House. He showcases his skills with many different styles of pizza, like New York, Detroit, grandma and American traditional. On top of that, their crust may be one of the best I've ever had. However, I do have a small warning for those who have never been here before, this is not a full size restaurant with indoor seating, but more of a take out pizza joint with only a few individual seats with a common bar table inside and a few tables and chairs outside. As the name suggests, you can get a slice or two, but for most people it's takeout, but very good takeout.

Mouth watering pizza!! So far I've only tried there Pepperoni Pizza and this pizza is the best pizza I've had in a while! I really liked the fact that this pizza was not drenched in oil, did not fall apart once you picked it up and did not skimp you on the pepperoni like other pizza places I've tried. This pizza had a rich flavorful taste of pepperoni and a great balance of sauce and cheese! Definitely a classic pizza place! Can't go wrong!

Truly excellent pizza. By far the best in the east bay. Love the Wise Guy and for those moments where im really insatiable I love the weekday special which includes a massive pepperoni pizza, meatballs and cookies! However one star must be deducted because the patio section is in need of a little TLC. Lots of trash strewn about and none of the heaters worked. For a place with no indoor dining I would think this would be in tip top shape

Terrible experience with this place! Second time they make my order wrong; The first time I didn't say anything and yesterday I called to complain that my pizza didn't come from the flavors I had ordered and the attendant hung up on me twice and then the extremely rude ….. manager came after i called 6x saying that I he was lying and for ME to take the pizza back he would prove me i was wrong and in the end he hung up on me too. I don't recommend this place to anyone where they don't know how to treat people with respect when they're wrong. Oh, just look the wrong half/half pizza that came to me. Sounds like a joke right? Really arrogant staff
