Healthy. Delicious. Affordable. And that’s outside of the new design, fast service and spacious seating, including outside shaded ones. What a next door discovery here in Walnut Creek following Google suggestion. All salads are fresh and crisp, homemade dressing and juicy flavored grilled fish. Seabass just called to be eaten and reserved a place for the return. Thank you “California Fish Grill” for making our town a healthier with services you offer. Will see you soon.

Went with a bunch of fish and chicken eaters who really loved the food. The presentation was beautiful. Was pleasantly surprised to see they had plant based options... Fake meat is not usually my thing, but I gotta say the spicy "shrimp" dish I had was spectacular. Taste and texture And I gave a bite to my fish eating friend who said he'll be ordering it next time. Amazing place! Reasonably priced for what you get.

Another absolutely amazing California fish grill. This is my second experience with this company. First try was in Sausalito and it was absolutely awesome. This one is also fantastic. I had the fried shrimp and a double order of french fries cooked extra crispy. The shrimp were lightly breaded ultra fresh and seasoned to perfection. The fries cooked extra crispy were perfect. They were obviously cooked fresh. I had a small bowl of clam chowder and it too was good. I'm not a major fan of clam chowder so I can't accurately review it. Service was ultra fast and very friendly. I like their use of cell phone text messages to alert you when your order is ready.

Now that this place is not as crazy crowded as in the beginning shortly after opening, we started visiting more often (But still closer to 8pm). The service is relatively quick. Three meals, side of fries and a beer was about $60. Not bad given the two sides per plate and the grilled fish. I loved the seabass, the salmon and the rock fish. Not too sure about the fish tacos my daughter had, especially the side beans were not my kind. But I must say plenty of healthy choices for the sides, including kale slaw, Brussels sprouts. The fish taste is easily comparable to places like Pacific Catch, for fraction of the cost. I wish they had heaters outside at the patio. Overall, great place, food and service.

Ca Fish Grill has always been SO good! I've been coming here for a little over a year now & have never been let down! It's my post-work Friday treat! Edit - 6.21.21: Went to Ca Fish Grill today...Pretty disappointed with the proportions...I don't know what happened. The fish is on the skimpy side. Usually, you get larger pieces than this.. :(
