The food here is stellar. The salt and pepper prawns are amazing, and we also love the tofu with vegetables, as well as chicken with green beans. The prices are not cheap but the food quality is consistently excellent, every single time we've eaten here, whether take out or dine in (and we've eaten here dozens of times).

I fully recommend this place if you are looking for some good Vietnamese cuisine. My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was a great experience. The restaurant staff was amazing. They were very pleasant and very helpful. Their wonderful service helped make the entire experience that much more memorable. In addition, their food was delicious. I was able to sample many of their appetizers and dishes, and everyone in our party enjoyed themselves. We had our food served family style, and there was more than enough for everyone. Plus did I mention it tasted great. The bartender provided additional personality, and was very pleasant. If I could do it all over again, I would pick the same place, with the same food options. Everyone had a great time, and everyone was full.

This is a very pretty restaurant, but not a good value for the money. One appetizer and one main dish was $20. Of that, the appetizer (spring rolls) were pretty good. They could have used about half again more peanut sauce. But they were fresh, the veggies crunchy and the wrap not at all soggy. I like a little more mint in my rolls, but that is a personal preference. The main dish (veggie curry) was tasty, but sadly, dry and gritty. It was obviously made with some premixed dry curry powder like anyone can buy and had perhaps sat too long. Not the bright, fresh food I usually associate with Vietnamese cuisine. Bottom line: way, way too expensive for the quality of the food. But about as good as you are going to get in Walnut Creek. (So far, the very best Vietnamese food I have had was in San Francisco.)
