Good food and good value for money. We visited The Ferry on Tuesday lunch time. We sat upstairs, great views of the River Mersey and Liverpool skyline. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered fish and chips ( from the lunch …
Cycled past lady summer and it looked like the kind of place we wouldn't like, full of rowdy men outside. Came back last week and it was quite pleasant. Excellent service. Biggest and juiciest bacon chop I've ever had. The Scouse was okay but could have been hotter. Good spot for watching the ships sail by.
Lovely old pub in great location. Very nice staff and delicious food. Plenty of seating, warm, good music. 5 stars from us!
Went for a midday bite to eat , met by lovely staff (couldn't fault them).
Ordered coffee, a latte...it was terrible. Really strong, bordering on an Espresso but the staff weren't surprised when I mentioned it and gave me extra milk. …
Not sure if we came on an off day but wasn’t the best experience really. Hunters chicken was extremely dry, and cheese not melted. Fryer oil needed to be changed from the taste of the chips. Didn’t eat it at all. Shame as the service was okay.
Nice setting for this real ale pub by the river. Good fare the leek and chicken pie with gravy and Mash is amazing. Good service and traditional decor.
