Cinco De Mayo

Everything was ... fine. Service was average, wouldn't do a simple substitution of rice for tortillas. Food was average too, very cheap cuts of meat, although ample portions. Prices higher than you'd expect for the quality. Outdoor seating very nice to have. Margaritas were good, but not served in a margarita glass...?? Fruity version way too sweet.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I wish I could say something about the food, but our waitress never put in our order. An hour and a half later and everyone around us had already eaten and left. Not only that, but our waitress never checked on us, so we had to grab other staff to at least get chips and salsa. We spoke to the manager, but all he said was, "Sorry, we are really busy." If you are very patient, maybe you'll eventually eat! Good luck!

We were seated and served chips and some good salsa. The menu looked very good--standard Mexican fare with a few twists and we were excited to order. But our excitement waned as we waited 20 minutes to order. At this point we gave up and left. I think they were very short-staffed. Too bad, but you still can't forget about your guests. The interior decor was nicely themed to the Cinco de Mayo historical event, however it did seem a little dated. The bathrooms were not very clean.

This was our first and last time at this restaurant. We were greeted by one of the waitresses and were told to wait 15 minutes. That was fine. They did not have a hostess and wait staff was just filling in to greet new customers. They never took names of the new guests or made a list and seemed to mess up the order of who was first a lot. It was a Saturday night and they were busy - I will give them that. But there didn't seem to be any management staff on the floor or enough waiters. The bartender was also a host, a bus boy, a food runner, a host, and a waiter. The food took a really long time but we expected that given the wait staff to guest ratio. We ordered fajitas and man did they taste bad. The only thing that tasted decent were the tortillas. And we are not picky eaters. It seemed like their veggies were just thawed out and immediately after cooked. Everything was off. Our beverages never came out. When we told our waitress to just cancel them she said she forgot and they were never rung up in the first place. And the waiting game just to get the bill was ridiculous. The waitress took beverage and food order of two new tables in her section, while we were waiting at an empty table since she had cleared out all plates. It was one of those kinds of experience that you never wish you have to repeat again.

Stopped here for lunch and although the place was near empty there was no one to seat us for a good 10 min. When a young woman finally came out, she ignored the fact that we were there. She seemed annoyed by me approaching her to be seated. Despite this, I looked forward to enjoying the food. Another disappointment. The chicken in my dish did not taste fresh, like it had been stored for way too long and the cheese in my enchilada was American cheese! We will definitely not be coming back here.

My party and I walked in and were told to seat ourselves. The host just played on his cell phone for the entire 10 minutes we were at our table. We were never contacted by a waitstaff so we walked out. Upon leaving, the same host who was playing on his phone said "thanks for coming, hope you enjoyed your food" to us, without even looking away from his electronics. Great place to go if you're trying to work on being a more patient human being.

You get salsa and chips upon arrival. Salsa tasted like tomato sauce with cilantro added. Asked for water with my margarita (which was good) and never received it. Ordered guac for an appetizer and never received it. Asked if the lettuce in the taco salad was iceberg lettuce or really green lettuce, waiter said really green but it came and was just iceberg lettuce indeed. Unfortunately I won't return. The food looked good but it's pricey for the atmosphere of the restaurant.

My husband and I were visiting the area and he had a taste for Mexican food. Pulling up to the door, the place looks sketchy. Ok, move past the exterior and the inside looked run down and not really clean. The chips tasted stale and the queso dip we ordered arrived cold. How do you serve cold queso?! We then ordered a meal to split, grilled steak strips with onions and cheese served over a tortilla and bite one convinced me that they didn't just cook this or else it would have been steaming hot. I think they have all this prepared food, just put it on the plate and toss it in the oven long enough to melt the cheese. How else would the plate be hot but not the good!? You're better off going to Taco Bell.
