Do not eat here, you been warned. Dirty dishes, just one terrible waitress, grease food, not cheap either, if you go, just take a look at the tea pot on the outside. I should have left when I saw that. She never came to see if we needed anything else, the only time she came 3 time on the row is to see if were ready to pay.

The best there is in Ventura! This is a well-known hidden gem here. I asked a Walmart checkout clerk for the best Chinese in the area, and without missing a beat, she said, "China Kitchen!" I ran over there, and I cannot stop going there since. I love the orange chicken. But I also love the beef with broccoli, string beans with pork, juicy pork dumplings, sizzling rice soup, triple delight over the cripy noodles, and the house special chow fun (thick rice noodles). I recommend them all. The prices are reasonable. The service from Vivian is as good as any service can get.

We stopped at China kitchen on our way back from Ventura Harbor Village. The restaurants at the Village were too busy, and we were looking for someplace low-key where we could order take out. Being vegetarians, we ordered the kung pao tofu and kung pao veggie chicken. The dishes were spicy and very hot. We ordered a four-piece egg roll appetizer with our meal. The food was delicious and very filling. It came with rice. I would highly recommend a visit to China Kitchen if you're in the mood for good Chinese food.

Picked up a large order from here for dinner, a very nice women met me at the door, was very careful to keep her distance, wore a mask, and placed our order on a table they set up outside. Very friendly and the food looks and tastes amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone trying to take out great Chinese food while being cautious about the pandemic!
