Maple Bakery

I ordered the 8 inch strawberry shortcake and tiramisu. They are both beautiful in their own ways. Only thing I was surprised that the strawberry shortcake was not covered in white chocolate shavings as per photo on their online ordering. Make sure you specify that you want white chocolate shavings because i was informed they switch it up from time to time. The buttercream roses on the strawberry shortcake is beautiful!!!! Will attach photos soon as soon as we dig in. 5/5 Update******* The cakes were beautiful!!! I know there wasn't white chocolate around the strawberry shortcake but the huge white chocolate slab that had happy mothers day wording I requested made up for it from the tiramisu cake. Tiramisu was okay to be honest...the sponge from the tiramisu was overly soaked and I ate a chunk of ice crystals which indicated it was from frozen. I am also confused as to why the strawberry shortcake had blueberries in it? Nonetheless the strawberry shortcake was more delicious than the tiramisu. I think making your own tiramisu from scratch is much more worth it than purchasing a tiramisu from maple bakery. However if the bakery makes these adjustments with not oversoaking the tiramisu sponge and making it fresh i would definitely purchase again.

CONSISTENTLY Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this bakery NEVER fails me... well it does when it runs out of what I want before I can get there lololol I started coming to this bakery a few years ago when the bakery I would go to closed down. Maple isn't close to me but it is worth the travel The bakery has a very yummy sfoglia cake with berries. My dads favourite and i'm so glad we were recommended to come here because I wasn't sure where we were going to get dads cake for his birthdays and special occasions. Here are some other recommendations... you have never had an almond croissant until you have the almond croissants from Maple Bakery... HUGE, oozing with soft, melt in your mouth yumminess. Their apple fritters ( i believe only made on Fridays) are to die for. the size of a house. When I need my brother to help me with something at my house, I ensure I swing by Maple to get these doughnuts before I hit up my brother for a favour. The service is always great and they are very helpful if you need to call ahead and have something put aside before it runs out. There are so many options. Everything is always fresh and there is a hot table.

This establishment is outwardly contravening the Reopening Ontario Act and they don't seem to care how unprofessional they are when it comes to treating people with valid exemptions, so much so that he had decided to call the police. I was yelled at by the manager for attempting to make light of their handling of this particular situation. He not only refused me service, but also refused to acknowledge the fact that they are in contravention of this act. Any self-respecting small business would not engage in such unacceptable behaviour towards people willing to pay money to support them.

I've driven past Maple Bakery hundreds of times but never visited it until a friend mentioned it. It will now become our go-to place for desserts! There was a ton of selection to pick from, and the few items that we got were absolutely delicious! The cannoli specifically was one of the better ones we've had so far. Looking forward to the next visit already!
