Kabob Express

Came here for the first time! Restaurant was clean and staff is friendly. Ordered chapalee kabob combo which includes two chapalee kabobs, rice, salad and a soda. The food was decently flavored. It is not spicy and the flavors were not strong. Would have preferred more of a kick in the flavors. Would try other options off the menu.

I've been here a couple of times and on both visits the food has been exceptional. Huge portions and the quality has been very good.not a place that would be considered fancy but the quality of the food is what keeps me coming back. I had the Viziri Kabob plates that had chicken and minced meat kabobs. Everything was delicious and I was left very satisfied. I recommend and will stop by next time I'm in the area.

Delicious Afghani food. The quality was good, but other Afghani restaurants have higher quality. The portion sizes of the food are fair and reasonable, but other Afghani restaurants have overwhelmingly huge portions, which I love. Clean dining area. Customer service was not bad, but the energy in the atmosphere does not feel 100% welcoming. Needs upgrading in the modern culture of great restaurants in order to keep up with the competition from the vast number of surrounding restaurants. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience and will come again.

The food tasting fairly good. It is warm and they prepare it right there. The wait time for food takes a bit of time. In addition, they place orders on tray and you have to approach or listen for receipt number. This seems to be a family oriented place. However, i would have preferred that my food is not in front of other customers while they order.

I had the best shami meal there! Everything is cooked to perfection and the service is great! I wish they had a location near my house I would eat there everyday. The rice is cooked perfectly and the meat is tender and juicy. I have had a great experience every time I have eaten here and I most definitely recommend everyone eat here st least once or twice. There food will have to coming back again and again!
