Slope Room

Excellent food with excellent service! Our server was so nice and friendly to us. We had a great time in Christmas Eve and we were so impressed the food. We didn’t have high expectations before we came here. But it was absolutely the best restaurant we ate in Vail. Love the lamb shank, mussel & onion soup! Will definitely come back here when we visit Vail. Recommend to everyone:)

The atmosphere, service and food are all top notch at Slope Room! We had the pleasure of dining at the bar and getting the 5 star experience from our bartender, Justin and Ben too! Definitely splurge on the hot stone wagyu and if meat is your thing, keep the trend going with the bison! There are also incredible vegan and vegetarian options available too! Dreaming of coming back to eat at Slope Room again soon!

Slope Room 7/10. Beautiful space, cool vibe. Upon arrive for our res on time had to wait 25 min at bar. I know it’s COVID but we had a reservation at 8:45 which is late for Vail. Then when we were asked about seating we were told we could sit in cocktail area or this back room. We asked after that to be sat in a nice round booth toward the front which was a much better table. We ordered a ton of stuff but were disappointed after ordering 4oz of the A5 wagyu to be later told later they were out of it. We got the PEI mussels and hamachi crudo which were really good. Waiter was friendly and service was pretty good. Cocktails were excellent. We got two wagyu steaks at $72 each for 14oz. Weren’t the best steaks I’ve ever had but not bad. Slightly overcooked but expected a bit more flavor. Definitely good though. We also ordered the scallops entree but they forgot to put that order in. We were okay with that being that we were pretty full off everything else. We also got baby carrots and mushrooms. There’s my full run down. My buddy gave it a 6.5 I gave it a 7.5. The consensus is 7/10.
