Cajun Connection

Delicious Cajun food! My friend and I split the Combo for 2 with blackened alligator, shrimp, and Crawfish. It was our first time trying alligator -- glad we did! Our favorite was the crawfish; it was full of flavor. We only wish the protein portions had been larger (there was a lot of rice and Jambalaya, so would've been nice to have more shrimp, crawfish, and alligator to go with it). Glad we checked this place out after a day of winter hiking!

Rapid seating. No wait. Server knew the menu very well. Being our first time there, she was insightful and patient. The owner, Ron, made several trips to the dining room greeting and talking to guests. The food was very good. Came out hot and quick. I recommend the gumbo and fried catfish. The fish was like butter! The gumbo was loaded with meats and rice. Not spicy, but a balanced kick that anyone could enjoy. The prices were reasonable for the fresh sea food, and definitely a place I will be returning to again.

After a good day at the park we decided to check this place out for my 30th bday. What A gem!! I felt right at home w the service and the food was exceptional. The gumbo was not hot Spivey and delicious and the alligator was lovely. All The shrimp types had a wonderful fresh clean flavor. They were nice to sing happy bday to me and the pecan pie was perfect! Would come back

Loved this restaurant and atmosphere! Cajun Ron comes out to speak with his customers. You can tell her love what he does and having folks come to enjoy what he makes.. Our waitress was wonderful and very helpful and could tell it was our first time there. Food is fantastic. Best Gator I've ever had. Fantastic warm pecan pie. Prices are great for all you get. Really loved our experience, and look forward to being back

We spent the day at the wine walk and decided to go here for dinner. Got seated immediately. Dinner brought to us in a timely manner. Food was good. They didn't hesitate to take plates immediately when we were done. Then after paying for almost 200 dollars of food and drinks the waitress comes over and tells us to leave because there is a family waiting to be seated. My daughter was still finishing her drink and had to hurry up and drink it immediately. Then owner gets up and tells people who are done with their meal to leave. Are you kidding me? We will never go there again. Good luck if you continue to disrespect your patrons like that.
