Red Ox Tavern

This visit was a great experience. The waitress was nice, we actually got our water refilled. To me, that's a plus. It means that your server is paying attention. It took little long for the food to come out, but when it did...everything was hot and very tasty. I built a burger and my husband had the burger with the fried egg(?) We were there a few weeks ago and I built a pizza. It wasn't as great as it used to be. It came out warm and the cheese didnt string away like it should have. The water fall is leaking out onto the floor which is pretty bad. We didnt get why the didnt just turn it off! If it cant be fixed at the moment, doesnt matter. Just continue to serve good food!

Friday night is live Country music night so keep that in mind because it's rather loud.😩 Not my particular music preference but that did not stop us from dining in. I'm sooooo glad we decided to stay because our waiter Ryan was absolutely fantastic and extremely pleasant. He committed five different orders to memory and handled it with relative ease. Thank you Ryan!! The food was delicious. Kudos to the kitchen staff. Burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly. My vegetables were cooked but still crunchy just as I prefer them to be. My wife's pizza could have stayed in the oven for 45 more seconds but she still enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning. It was a breath of fresh air. I was able to make substitutions with ease as well because I favor a ketogenic menu option. Great great job!!!!!

This was my first time at this restaurant. The restaurant itself has a cool vibe but DO NOT waste your money on the food here. The sliders were so expensive for the size of them and were overcooked. The fries tasted like they sat out all day then microwaved before they were served to us. My beer was the only decent experience, unfortunately.
