Arcuri's Pizza

One of my favorite local pizzerias the Purple Cow wings are a must and very unique but make sure to ask them to char grill them. They make a chicken pizza with the same sauce and it is also very good. For the lunch crowd they have huge slices important for a place that makes thin crust pizza. If you want a thicker crust pizza their old fashioned pizza is the bomb especially with double pepperoni they use cup pepperoni on it and it gets nice and crispy sine they cook the pizza crispy and well done my favorite way also super filling and I’m a big eater so that means something. Nice facility kinda of a busy area so parking can be tough. And they also have some slamming sandwiches.

I ordered from Slice Pizzeria for the office staff today. Such a great experience from order to pick up. We enjoyed trying the different things. Sorry the pictures were taken after a staff member or two got into it. 😂 The large cheese pizza was good and one of the best NY style thin crust in the Mohawk Valley. 😋 The chicken riggies are solid and would definitely get them again. I really like the fact that the chicken chunks are large and were char grilled which added a depth of flavor. 😍 The large Purple Cow Chicken Finger Sub Roll Panini is amazing and the star of the show!! No one else has anything like it. That Purple Cow sauce is magical and a must have. The sub roll pressed panini style with taste, texture, and consistency is another dimension of enjoyment. 🤩

Would be 5 stars but after recieving my order of purple cow wings i open the tray to dry regular fried wings with sauce on the side. Seems they dont grill their purple cow wings any more, thats what made them stand out to their competition. Be careful. Photo is what i got vs what you are supposed to get. (Update owner contacted me within minutes of review being posted said it was a mistake with new employees and will be corrected. My next order is on them)

Ordered two large tenderloin sandwiches which I have been ordering for the past four years. I am given two small and told they were large. I told them they are always double that size. They remake them. I get home and unwrap it. They gave me a bigger piece of bread and use the same amount of meat. One of the sandwiches was made on a panini. There were two pieces on panini and the other was on a hero!! I call them and I am told they have the small sandwiches still there and actually made new sandwiches (Not in 5 minutes!). Another guy gets on the phone and tells me he cooked an additional piece of meat for each sandwich. He tells me the small gets two pieces of tenderloin and rhe large gets three.....Guess they are cutting back on their product as well as their service. Very disappointed. They said if I want come back and they would remake it (probably with the same three pieces of meat) Time for a new spot!

Updated:So maybe you have never had the Utica pizza with Cheese on the bottom of the sauce. ( I originally called it Tomato Pie... Whoops ), This is a great place to dig into one. The hardest part of ordering, is deciding not to order a Slices' regular pie, which BTW, they have a great upstate thin crust NY city style pizza too. I will make the drive to Utica for their pizza, it is that good. This is not a fancy sit down Pizzeria, but if you can't wait to get it home, they have tables, its very casual. The purple wings are unique and very tasty. If the desserts are as good as their pizzas I will have to give them a try next time I am in town, haven't tried that yet....
