American Melts

This is an absolute must for anyone wanting a phenomenal sandwich! Not only is the menu creative, but if you can't find anything that tickles your fancy, you can build your own sandwich! The selling point for me was the option for gluten free bread. I always struggle to find good sandwich places and this was hands down the best gluten free sandwich I've ever had. The building itself is a small shack with a small alcove to order and there is only outdoor seating. I wish there was more parking available, as the lot can only accommodate a few cars. Food is phenomenal, service was friendly & fast, super affordable prices, all in all a great experience. Will definitely be back.

Not every great eatery has to be brick and mortar or visually attractive. Some of the best eateries are DIVES. American Melts should be featured in the Food Networks Diners, Drive-ins and Dives! They take an ordinary grilled cheese and make multiple stops through Flavor Town. The combination of cheeses, proteins, sauces and add-ons is out of bounds! Pictured with this review is the Athena (Feta, Mozz, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, and fresh lemon sandwiched between 2 slices of country white bread and grilled to perfection). You can choose the Chef's Combination or Make Your Own. Either way, you will not be disappointed. I provided pictures of the building across the street bc you can easily pass it. Enjoy!

I have been meaning to try this place for a while and I am so glad I had the opportunity to today. I ordered a California and a Dagwood. Yes, I ate both and they were both so delicious. (They have more specialty sandwiches on their at-store menu!) Moreover, the customer service is great. They are so kind and bring the food out for you. I highly recommend them.

Quality meats and cheeses with awesome crisp on your bread that is meant to enjoyed the minute it comes off the griddle. There's free parking and a patio outside to enjoy these delicious sandwiches. And boy these sandwiches are good. I tried their Stone Pony sandwich and mm mmm ooeey, gooey, cheesy goodness!
