Samurai Sushi

The food was so good! The kiss of fire roll was AMAZING! And the guys working were super chill! All the decorations were cute and the stuff on TV was good too! All together it makes for a really friendly atmosphere. I had never tried this place before but me and hubby decided to check it out for date night. We had a wonderful meal & we’ll definitely be going back!

This is a small Korean-owned Japanese restaurant with less than 10 tables. The food quality is above average. They offer a wide selection of rolls. Bento box selection is limited but acceptable. Compared to a couple of years ago, the menu has become a bit more expensive while the portion has been cutback. It can feel crowded during lunch hours because the place is so small. Service can be very slow here. Expect long wait after ordering. At least, parking isn't a problem here. The location is quite convenient as it sits just right off Hwy-99.

Although the waiter was very kind and friendly, he could have been a lot more attentive. I watched him help the young girl's at the table next to us, but he never asked if our table was OK. I had to grab my own napkins and anything else I might have needed on my own. My table spent over a $150, the girls next to me each bought a cheap roll and made disgusting puke sounds while they ate it. Apparently I need to be under 24 yrs old to get any service from this particular waiter. On an positive note, the cook was was impeccable with his sushi rolls and the food was phenomenal. They accommodated weird requests made by my mother in law and child, and did not make us feel like we were being a burden. I will definitely go back, I will just be a lot more vocal about my displeasure with the waiter next time. Honestly I'll probably just get my food to go.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I've been coming here for 4 years and always had a great experience. Since they changed owners I have came a few times and always leave unsatisfied! The service is horrible! The staff shows zero to no concern in customer service! They have forgotten to give me one of my orders everytime! And then get upset when I cancel it! I went with my husband and we ordered 3 rolls they brought one of mine out first and then my husband's 10 minutes later. And the 3rd roll never came! I'm for sure never going back! Oh and the sushi isn't even as good as it used to be! Never again!

First time at this place. A friend recommended this place, albeit, he hadn't been to this place for a long time! My mom and I went for lunch at 12:30. I ordered sushi, my mom ordered chicken teriyaki plate ( she can't eat sushi) and asked if they would substitute the California rolls for something else, the waitress went to ask and returned with a "no!" So she changed her order to a chicken bowl, the waitress returns and tells us, "sorry but we don't have chicken, it's just marinating so we won't have any right now!" Are you kidding me?? The "karate kid" behind the counter was super sweet and nice, apologized but the other big guy that looked as if he had just rolled out of bed was most unfriendly. We were trying the place out bcuz we were going to have them cater an event or just order food to go for this event. Whether they had chicken marinating at "12:30" lunch time or not is incredible to believe! First impressions count and we were stunned that they were unprepared. They lost out, we were prepared to pay a lot for our celebration so we decided to go elsewhere! Never returning!

Wowed by Aurora’s great and attentive service, even during a busy lunch crowd. (Always a good sign) This was the most delicious boat we’ve had . While the cream cheesed, avocado stuffed, deep fried rolls are great, it was tasty to enjoy all the different fish in a fresh dish. But next time I’m getting the (no name) A+
