918 Coffee

Good atmosphere, friendly people, fair/poor service. 4 orders after us have been served before us... (just a Breve Latte and a cappuccino)and counting. The barista moves at a snails pace! Very-nice decor, but not cozy. Coffee are high quality with a strong, fresh medium -light roast South American herbal/sweetness that is acidic,. but not tart nor sour. Quality coffee. I would come back. 4/5 Stars.

Update: they currently only have oat milk for their milk alternative for $1 upcharge. Still make a delicious dirty chai. Hailey is amazing! She had freshly made the vegan garden burger (highly recommend to anyone) which was full of flavor and super filling. She also made my spiced chai latte with almond milk and espresso to perfection. I highly recommend this café to grab lunch, study, or catch up with friends and enjoy a variety of drinks and food. They have wonderful options here for vegans, vegetarians, and those who are gluten free.

The outside looks like it used to be a family home.  The inside is a clean modern/retro feeling space.  Having never been here before, I ordered the Nutty Irishman latte because it was on the sign when we walked in the door.  It’s served in a large white cup like most coffee houses with a cute branch for the latte foam art.  While we waited we noticed this is so much more than a coffee shop.  They have snacks, sandwiches, beer and wine… oh my!  We will be back.

This lightly toasted sandwich was so perfect with just the perfect amount of crunch with each bite. It had just enough toasting to warm it enough to melt in your mouth; but not so much it hurts the tender places in your mouth with it's crust. It has sun roasted tomatoes, pesto sauce & swiss cheese. The drink is a mocha latte with coconut milk & peppermint added. I like the coffee base better than Starbucks but the taste isn't quite as smoothe. I would still get it again & request extra peppermint. The guy working was very patient, answered every question & was a perfect host. The atmosphere was the perfect mix of quiet noise. Even in close quarters, there was no worry our conversation would be overheard at the next table. The ambiance was very cozy & comforting, equipped with cozy spaces & boardgames to pass the time. I can't wait to visit again!
