Monkey Burger

This is one of my favorite burger joints; definitely favorite chain burger restaurant. In-n-Out ain't got nothing on these guys. After my first experience in Mesa, I had hoped they would bring one here. Sure enough, six months later... Now that there is one just blocks from my house, I consider myself forever indebted to the burger gods.

I really like this little spot. Their burgers are delicious and hearty along with a nice array of toppings. Definitely order the fried pickles (they are to die for). I also really enjoy their salads. They're large, fresh and outstanding. The staff is friendly, offers good service and keeps us coming back.

We finished the Meet Me Downtown, and went to Monkey Burger for dinner. The food was very good, and prepared correctly. We a couple of special orders, which always makes me nervous. The staff was very attentive and spent time talking to our kids as well as keeping the drinks filled while we waited for our food. The chips are thick and crunchy and are standard with your meal. We also got sweet potato fries and the regular fries. The portions are big enough to share. The burgers are huge but very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a different type of burger experience.
