Grumpy's Grill

Great tasting food. Sat at bar and bartender seemed swamped with bar orders and some food orders. We ordered dessert and waited over 10-15 minutes and it never came. Had to cancel dessert and cash out. There was a gentleman that works there and he was asking the other servers if they needed any help. The bartender never asked him for help, I. e. fixing our dessert which he knew how to do. Bartender seemed to be swamped and could have used help. Her service to people sitting at the bar was a little slow.

Grympy's is great...HIGHLY recommend. Ordered take-out breakfast two days in a row while visiting Tucson. French toast, Weekly Special, Omelette, and Egg Sandwich were ALL excellent. Home fries were crispy on the outside and meaty inside. Eggs over medium done perfectly both days. Sourdough was also very good. The staff was friendly and inviting from the phone call to pickup! Order was ready quickly, actually faster than the 15 minute estimate given both days.

My husband and I stopped in today for a late lunch/early supper, on a Saturday no less. We were very pleased with our entire experience. We had just sat down and Karla was there almost immediately with menus and wanting to know what we'd like to drink . Menu is huge, so many good things to choose from! We both got iced tea, which was very good, and Karla kept us topped off. I had taco salad and my husband the fish basket. Both our meals we were very pleased with. Karla popped over frequently to see how we were doing. Prices very reasonable. Restaurant clean, restrooms clean. Food was tasty and current. My salad was delicious, fresh. Husbands fries and fish cooked just right. Canned music playing but not overly loud. Several TVs showing sports. Bar on one side with dining, and more dining on the other side. Parking a breeze. Easy access/egress. This is a nice community establishment. We were made to feel that our business was appreciated and welcome. We will definitely go back.

Solid burger/sandwich joint. They have some good salads too. It's usually busy so expecta wait. Seem to have a lot if staff changes so service is generally good but sometimes it isn't but if you can allow time in case you have a newer server, everyone needs time to learn a new job. I usually pick a wrap or salad. The burgers are good but big and messy to eat.
